Moora 1895-1905
The town site of Moora was gazetted in 1895.
In 1905, legislation aimed at “protecting” Aboriginal people forced many Noongars off country and into towns. [vii]
As a result of the 1905 Act, more Noongars were ordered onto town reserves such as the Moora reserve.
