Club started by Helena Murphy nee Clarke, Geoff Harcus, Bill and Jack Poland. Thomisha Forrest talks about getting dressed up for the Coolbaroo Club dances; Corrie Bodney talks about learning to dance there. Helena Murphy explains that no European could have an executive position in Club because she thought that if they got in, Aboriginal people would be controlled by them.
